Meeting Makeup Information
The Swansea Rotary Club meets every Thursday morning at Clinton Hill Country Club. Sometimes it's difficult for outsiders or newcomers to become accustomed to meeting every week. However, most Rotarians look forward to that weekly meeting because of the fellowship and camaraderie that they experience. Regular attendance and make-ups are encouraged. As a member of the Swansea Rotary Club, you are entitled to attend any Rotary Club meeting in the world. It's always fun to make up in a foreign country; however, if you desire to attend a meeting closer to home, consider the listing below. If you make up at another club and turn in your make-up slip, you will be given credit for attendance just as if you had attended your own club meeting. Please keep in mind, that you must attend your home club 50% of the time during a 6-month period. Half of those meetings must be at your home club. The attendance figures for each club are sent to the District Secretary on a monthly basis by the 10th of the month. You have 2 weeks before and after missing a meeting to do a make-up. Participating in a service event will also earn you a make-up. Attendance figures are published in the District Newsletter for all to see the status of each club's attendance. Occasionally, awards are given to clubs with the best attendance.
